DASHVIDEO
DashVideo extends CloverLeaf’s popular and easy to use DashDaily community publishing tools to include the publishing of video.
Think of it as like a managed YouTube — with permission from a service provider, a community organization such as a school or a church goes to the password-protected brandable DashVideo website and uploads a video asset right from their PC. DashVideo transcodes the video asset to the target codec, and delivers it to the specified server, along with metadata and the descriptive content input by the publisher. The entire process is automated with an easy to use administrative interface.
Available on selected platforms — video playback is dependent on underlying middleware platform.

DASHVIDEO PROCESS
Approximately 2-3 Times Running Time of Video Asset
- Video publisher is given a password and signs-in to DashVideo website
- Video publisher enters descriptive metadata & uploads video asset
- Application transcodes asset to target video codec and delivers transcoded asset and associated metadata to designated server(s)
- DashVideo administrative screen is updated with status and preview video — any errors or delays are reported to publisher and CloverLeaf administrator by email
- Television user interface is populated and video is available for playback by television viewers
