Founded in February 2003, Brooklyn-based CloverLeaf Digital LLC specializes in the design, development, and management of interactive television services, and is the leading independent provider of interactive television walled garden portals in North America.
CloverLeaf’s well-seasoned management team brings a deep background in the unusual combination of skills required for interactive TV services – designing for the unique characteristics of remote control navigation of interactive contact on TV; developing for the equally unique characteristics of embedded browsers; building and managing robust content management, distribution and publishing systems; identifying and licensing the interactive content TV viewers use most; and meeting and managing the needs of network operators.
We cultivate a flexible and “real world” technology strategy, developing robust solutions and systems based on appropriate technology designed for today’s interactive television environment, and for today’s television viewers. While focused on today, we keep an eye on tomorrow – continually developing new applications and porting to new platforms, as well as designing and developing increasingly complex applications for the television platforms of the future.
CloverLeaf Digital is entirely self-funded, and is right-sized to meet the needs of our primary market – tier 2 and 3 telephone companies and cable operators. We are big enough to meet the operational requirements of the largest network operators in the world, and small enough to focus on the unique needs of small independent operators. Our current customers include innovative consumer electronics companies, in addition to leading telephone companies and cable operators.
What’s in a Name?
No, we are not Irish. Yes, we are drawn to the cloverleaf as a symbol of luck – we have indeed been fortunate to pursue our passions in the independent environment that we love (and a little luck never hurts). However, the image that most resonates with us is not the garden variety cloverleaf, but the freeway cloverleaf – which provides high-speed navigation, has an elegant architecture, and is a marvel of modern technology from the era of the golden age of television.
